Your first sale: quote to paid invoice

Follow one order from a customer's request all the way to cash in the bank.

Every sale in Svalog is one connected chain. Here it is, start to finish.

  1. Create a quote

Go to Quotes → New Quote, pick a customer and add products — totals, tax and discounts calculate themselves.

  2. Send it

Hit Send Email and Svalog delivers the PDF; the quote moves from Draft to Sent.

  3. Customer says yes — click Accept

Svalog creates a sales order and reserves stock for every item in one atomic step. If stock can't be reserved, nothing changes.

  4. Ship & Invoice

One action writes the delivery note, books the stock out, and issues the invoice. Shipping only part of the order? Partial shipments are built in.

  5. Send the invoice

Download the PDF or send it by email; the due date is set automatically from the customer's payment terms.

  6. Record the payment

Click Record Payment (full or partial) and the status flips to Paid or Partially Paid on its own.

The payoff

From request to paid, every document is linked, and stock and books update themselves. No re-typing, no spreadsheet, no "which version is current?"
